Very old rat infested hotel

Very old and tired hotel with loads of rats on the hotel grounds. No cleaning in 2 das and very unfriendly staff at reception. With check-out theu wanted to charge us for cleaning the sheets because my friend had a little wound. No interrest in the guest experience here...

They charge you for water, it’s NOT FREE!! Tried to charge us at check out but luckily we got a big packet from 7-11 which was much cheaper!! Perfect location, across the road from the beach on a street full of restaurants and bars and the road behind, where 7-11 is. Big spacious room, nice little balcony and a good air con with a fan to blow the cold air around. Very basic rooms and no lift. Clean towels provided daily that absolutely stank of damp, no toiletries or soap provided, had to ask a few times for toilet paper from reception as cleaner didn’t provide any. Shower pressure isn’t the best and it’s an open shower with a short curtain, so bathroom gets soaked and slippery. They have charges on the wall and half way through our stay the cleaner was demanding our bed sheets to be cleaned and insisted they were dirty but we said no it’s fine. Left do not disturb on the door but she still knocked on and said about cleaning it continuously. Never known a hotel to charge to clean your bed half way through your stay… Maybe to try get more money out of us? Best thing is the location, air con and the cheap price.

budget stay over, was just that, simple room and facilities, no elevator, air conditioner worked well, wifi was good, location was good for our walking foody vacation. bathroom was low point, needs updating badly, balcony was good for smoking and has some limited view. can't check in before 2pm, not a minute before. stayed two nights and upgraded for last three and was happier.

On first look, room is clean. Bed ok and bed sheet seems to be clean ans smell fresh. But when you look on details, it is a different story… Look at shower, the bathroom door and the electric plug… (pictures below) Not very welcoming… The room smell is strong too, due to air unable flowing through the room. The room is facing a very thin street. The window is separated from the other building with about only 5 meters… Now, for 27 us$ the night, can we expect better? Just a question…

Bugs crawling on me in bed. Switched rooms. Same thing. DO NOT STAY HERE unless you enjoy have little bugs everywhere. The manager is incompetent. Yelled at me that I had to checkout as once I switched rooms her hand written ledger was out of sorts. Needless to say there was no refund for my last 3 days.
